Jakub recently graduated from Cognitive and Decision Sciences at University College London and he’s currently starting a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience.
He devotes much of his time to researching Neurofeedback, a promising neuro-imaging technique that allows its users to gain voluntary control of their brain activity. Jakub is passionate about using this technique for enhancing cognitive functions such as memory, attention, rational thinking, decision making and even intelligence.Â
Cognitive enhancement can also be done without hi-tech equipment – there are plenty of well-researched and highly-effective methods that everyone can easily apply at home at no cost. Jakub’s goal is to inform people about the state-of-the-art methods in a digestible way so that they can too enjoy their benefits.
Beside Neurofeedback, Jakub is a passionate runner and yoga practitioner. He’s also a big fan of the Wim Hof method, which consists of breathing exercises and ice baths. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, throwing dinner parties and playing musical instruments.
