Learning on Steroids FAQ
The program costs $97. If you got the option with Learning on Steroids, future months are billed at $14 until you cancel (which is just as simple as sending me an email!)
How long does it take to do the course?
The core part of the course is 45 short videos (each only a couple minutes), with a total running time of 3-4 hours. However, if you want more content, the course also includes a 228 page ebook 4 master sessions (approx. 30 minutes each), a case study booklet, worksheets and an archive course with almost 10 hours of additional video.
In short, the course can be viewed in an afternoon if you want to get in and quickly get the information you need. If you want more explanations and depth, the course has plenty of extra content as well.
How much time will it take to get results?
I typically recommend students implement the content in the form of a 30-Day Trial, which is a month-long self-improvement focus to change your studying habits. That means with a month of effort you can start seeing results with the program. Some of the case studies we had, students continued their implementation over an entire semester to achieve more dramatic results, and to lock in the habits they created in the first month.
What will I get in the program?
A 10-section video course with short, easy-to-watch lectures (44 in total), a 228 page ebook, a case study booklet, 6 worksheets, 4 master-class sessions with Benny Lewis, Cal Newport, Kalid Azad and Liam Martin and the entire previous edition of the course (over 10 hours of content).
You can get a refund simply by emailing me here. As long as you let me know before the first 60 days after purchase, I can give you a refund, no questions asked!
We've had students from almost every conceivable background. High-school, university, masters, PhD, professional designation, self-education, law, chemistry, physics, literature, music, math and business. The reason the program can work with such diverse members is twofold. First, I focus on learning tactics, not tricks for passing tests or hacks to handle a particular course, so the ideas are general and will work no matter what level you're studying at. Second, I share a diverse array of tactics, not just one particular method. That means you can pick the tactics suited to your course, whether you're doing a lot of writing and reading, need to memorize facts or understand hard ideas. The curriculum is robust and I've done a lot of research to make it useful to the majority of learners.
How is it different from your free advice?
I don't believe in keeping secrets from my readers. When I find a learning tool that works, I share it on my blog for free. The difference is that those ideas are scattered across almost a 1000 articles, written at different time periods. As a result, I organize the best ideas into a course format and fill in the details that I don't put in blog articles for the course. If you hate the blog, you won't like the course. (Then again, if you like my free articles, the course is even better!)
I heard Learning on Steroids is closed. But here you say I can get in?
Once a year I offer open registration for Learning on Steroids, where you can join the program on its own. Customers of my full course, Learn More, Study Less, can get access to the Learning on Steroids content from the previous session as an add-on to their purchase. The best part is, if you sign up, you automatically get access to any new content I add when I do another opening of Learning on Steroids!
Results from Real Students
Before learning about holistic learning, I was achieving good grades, but the problem was that I was spending absolutely ages studying. Literally 8 hours a day for 3 weeks in the run up to my exams. Since then I've adopted a host of new studying techniques. I'm still achieving the grades I was a year ago, but with a lot less stress, and now I've got a lot more time to pursue other interests.

I read your guide at the beginning of Y11; It was inspirational so I spent weeks devising methods of applying the content. There is no doubt in my mind that it has paid off. For example:
-Achieving the top 0.5% in my state, Victoria, for Mathematical Methods.
-I am never worried that I will forget something for exams.
-Studying for exams and tests has become much less stressful."

I would like to thank you VERY much for your work; your program has helped and continues to help me immensely! One little advice helped me the most: quantity over quality at the beginning, start small and don't try to be perfect at first. I applied that mindset especially to metaphors and the 5-y-method - with great results."

Your advice has benefited me greatly in increasing my productivity.

I have loved using your services over almost a year now, ... I have taken away many skills such as speed reading and I have abolished rote-review/memorization from my study tactics. I will keep on reading your blog and advocating this program and your blog to my friends and community

My results:
- I was able to pull straight 90's in hard classes such as Calculus II and Discrete Mathematics.
- I have been able to get an 82 in my last Calculus Exam with NO studying at all.
- I schedule time to other commitments such as a Science Fair competition, and I recently got 4 prizes in total, including an Engineering and Computer Science scholarship for $2500.

I was a C student in college. ... I know this sounds really corny, but learning actually became fun once I opened myself up to new ways to learn. My mind was always in a flow state now when I was learning, instead of looking at the clock and falling asleep. [My financial planning certification exam] has about a 50% pass rate and I have known some very smart people who have had to take it twice. It's one of the biggest accomplishments in my career has been passing the exam.

The term is over, and just thought I'd let you know that my mid-semester total average is 94.3%. It's a massive increase from my grade before I started using the techniques, and also came with a lot less effort.

I mentioned in my first post that I wasn’t doing so well in Chemistry, because on the first test I scored a 57. I failed, and I was in a panic.
[After Learning on Steroids,] I took the exam with a bit more confidence and got my grades back with an 86. It may not seem like a huge improvement, but the class average was a failing grade. Another thing to note is that I just did not simply catch up with my class, I finished the entire curriculum for the semester.
