Ass-Kicking Email: How I stay productive

Hey,

Do you procrastinate? Waste time? Have trouble motivating yourself
to work?

All of us do, I’m certainly not perfect in this regard either.

However, there are simple changes you can make to the way you
organize your life that can dramatically increase your motivation
and cut procrastination. Today I’m going to talk about one of those
tools.

In this email:

-I discuss Weekly/Daily Goals
-From the forums!
-Postmortem on a 30-Day Trial for Learning on Steroids

Weekly/Daily Goals

The tool I was referring to is weekly/daily goals. This is a system
I have refined over a number of years and it has allowed me to grow
an online business, take full-time classes, volunteer, travel and
still have a social life.

If you aren’t already using a productivity system, that should be
step #1 in the program.

If you’d like to access the training guide for Weekly/Daily Goals
just go to the CONTENT section under MONTH 2.

Best of the Forums

One of the features of this program is a forum. There are many posts
deeper in the archives which may interest you. Of course, you’re
free to start your own discussions (which I highly recommend)!

Here are some good posts that have come up in the forum so
far:

“Hey guys!” – http://bit.ly/9qdAEZ

Member introductions, get to know other LoS members!

“The Cornell Notetaking Method” – http://bit.ly/asN1bM

Discussion on a famous notetaking method, with some links.

“30-Day Trial” – http://bit.ly/adwx1P

One example of some of the 30DTs being shared in the forums.

I also made a recent entry in the forum breaking down how I
went through the 30-Day Trial I discussed in the initial video:

http://bit.ly/cBc421

The discussion is worthwhile if you’re looking at better designing
your training efforts so that they become easier to stick with.

Have you been working on a 30-Day Trial, why not share your
progress with the group?
